Sol-Gel/Gel Casting Nanoarchitectonics of Hybrid Fe2O3–ZnO/PS-PEG Nanocomposites and Their Optomagnetic Properties

Abstract Polymer networks incorporated with iron and zinc oxide nanoparticles have superparamagnetic electrical characteristics where it can be employed in a variety of significant applications. To achieve optimal distribution connection various polymeric matrices, is required to investigate their dispersion performance varied contents the impact on physical characteristics. A controlled sol-gel method used combined gel casting synthesize organic-inorganic nanocomposites (ZnO) x (1 ? x)Fe 2 O 3 loaded within polystyrene-polyethylene glycol matrix. The structural morphological assembly hydrogen bonds between inorganic organic parts verified using X-ray diffraction (XRD) scanning/transmission electron microscope (SEM/TEM) for synthesized nanocomposites. existence Fe aggregates, Zn/Fe pairs, molecules was also confirmed by FTIR spectra. Optical magnetic properties were evaluated. band gap, refractive index, optical dielectric constant, electronegativity extracted.
